Privacy Policy
Effective October 7, 2026
RafterSuite™ is software for pre-engineered metal building dealers and fabricators, made by Greenbow Labs (“we,” “us”). This policy explains what information RafterSuite collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers this website, the RafterSuite app at app.raftersuite.com, and the online 3D designers dealers offer their customers through RafterSuite.
Information we collect
- Account information. For people who sign in to RafterSuite (dealers and their staff): name, email address, role, and a securely hashed password or passkey. A mobile phone number, only if you choose to add one, which is used for the text messages described under “Text messages (SMS)” below.
- Dealer business information. What a dealer sets up in RafterSuite: company name, logo and branding, website, product catalog and pricing, building rules, templates, and settings.
- Quote requests and designs. When someone designs a building in a dealer’s online designer and requests a quote, we collect what they enter — name, email, phone, job site address or postal code, notes, answers to the dealer’s questions — along with the building they designed. Shared design links store the building design and a picture of it.
- Questions to Ask. What you type into the Ask help assistant, and its answers (see “Ask, the help assistant” below).
- Technical information. Basic records needed to run and protect the service, such as sign-in times, IP addresses (for example, to limit abuse of sharing), and error reports.
How we use it
- To provide RafterSuite: sign you in, run the designer, price buildings, and deliver quote requests to the dealer they were meant for.
- To send service messages you ask for or need, such as sign-in and password-reset codes, team invitations, and new-lead notifications to dealers. If you add a mobile number, we also send one-time sign-in and password-reset codes by text when you ask for them, and account alerts to company owners. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems, and improve it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Dealers and their customers
Each dealer runs its own online designer on RafterSuite. Quote requests made through a dealer’s designer go to that dealer, who uses them to contact the customer about their building. The dealer is responsible for how it uses that information. If you requested a quote from a dealer, contact that dealer about your request; you can also reach us at the address below.
Ask, the help assistant
RafterSuite has a help assistant called Ask. Staff can ask it how to use RafterSuite, and customers in a dealer’s designer can ask how to use the designer. It answers from the RafterSuite user manual. It can’t see or change anyone’s building, prices or account, and it isn’t sent your name or email address.
- What it uses. The questions you type and the answers it gives, with your account’s user number (or, for a customer, a random visitor number that lasts only while the browser is open), the dealer, and your language.
- Who handles it. Ask runs on Greenbow Assist, a help service run by Greenbow Labs, the maker of RafterSuite, hosted in the United States. To write each answer, your question is sent to Anthropic, our AI provider, under its commercial terms. Those terms don’t allow Anthropic to train its AI models on your questions. Anthropic deletes them within 30 days, unless they are flagged for breaking its usage rules (then kept for up to 2 years) or the law requires it to keep them.
- How long we keep it. A conversation is deleted automatically 90 days after its last message. Records of questions sent on to a dealer or to support are also deleted after 90 days. Our usage counts, which never contain the text of a question, keep no link to you after 90 days. Deleted records can remain in our backups for a short time.
- Questions it couldn’t answer. We keep the text of these, without any user number, until we’ve improved the manual to answer them.
- When it can’t answer. You can choose to send your question on. A customer’s question goes by email to the dealer whose designer they’re using, with the email address or phone number they give so the dealer can reply. A staff member’s question goes to RafterSuite support. Those emails are kept in the receiving inbox, under the dealer’s or our normal email practices.
- Deleting it sooner. You can ask us to delete your Ask conversations before 90 days by emailing us at the address below.
Please don’t type sensitive personal information into Ask. Answers can be wrong, so check the manual sections they link to.
Text messages (SMS)
RafterSuite sends text messages only to people who add their own mobile number in their RafterSuite account settings. Those messages are one-time sign-in and password-reset codes, sent only when you ask for one, and account alerts for your company, which go only to company owners who have added a mobile number. We don’t send marketing or promotional texts.
How you agree to receive texts. Next to the mobile number field in your account settings, you’ll see this notice: “By adding your mobile number you agree to receive RafterSuite text messages: one-time sign-in and password-reset codes when you ask for them, and account alerts for your company (company owners only). No marketing. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.” Adding your number is your consent. Codes are sent only when you ask for one.
Texts are sent by GreenbowLabs, LLC, the maker of RafterSuite. Our texting terms are also in the GreenbowLabs, LLC privacy policy at greenbowlabs.com/privacy.
Message frequency varies — codes are sent when you ask for one, and account alerts are sent to company owners when something needs their attention. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Removing your mobile number in your RafterSuite account settings stops the texts too.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Who we share information with
We share information only as needed to run RafterSuite, with service providers who process it on our behalf:
- Hosting, database and file storage (Vercel, Neon, Cloudflare)
- Email delivery (Resend) and text message delivery (Twilio)
- Mapping, to estimate delivery distance from a job site (Google Maps)
- The Ask help assistant: Greenbow Assist (run by Greenbow Labs, hosted in the United States) and Anthropic, our AI provider, which generates its answers
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business, in which case this policy would continue to apply to it.
Cookies
RafterSuite uses cookies and similar browser storage only to keep you signed in, to remember your settings, and to keep a copy of the building you’re designing in your browser for up to 30 days (some browsers clear it sooner). We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If you use Ask in a dealer’s designer without signing in, a cookie holds a random visitor number for as long as the browser is open, so Ask can follow your conversation.
Keeping information safe
Information is sent over encrypted connections, passwords are stored only in hashed form, and access to dealer data is limited to that dealer’s account. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
How long we keep it
We keep account and business information while an account is active. Dealers control their own records, such as quote requests, and can ask us to delete them. We keep technical records only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting. Ask conversations are deleted automatically 90 days after their last message (see “Ask, the help assistant” above).
Your choices
- Update your account details, or remove your phone number, in your account settings. Removing your mobile number, or replying STOP to a text, stops the texts.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing us.
Children
RafterSuite is a business tool and isn’t intended for children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we’ll change the effective date above, and for significant changes we’ll let account holders know.
